Philadelphia, PA – September 26, 2024 – The Urban Youth Racing School (UYRS) is excited…
URBAN YOUTH was born out of the highly successful Urban Youth Racing School, established in Philadelphia in 1998 by Anthony Martin. With a 26-year track record of success behind us,as well as national recognition, we look forward to reversing the plight of urban youth in this country by creating opportunities, igniting careers and transforming lives while uplifting our community. With plans to expand in the coming years and incentive programs like the Urban Youth Chevy Points Championship, we see an exciting road ahead. Moving forward, Urban Youth will begin using augmented and virtual reality as an extension to our curriculums to provide students and teachers around the globe with a new interactive way to learn.
The Urban Youth Racing School (UYRS) is vital to the community as it offers underserved youth unique opportunities to explore STEM education through motorsports. By combining hands-on learning with real-world applications, UYRS engages students in innovative ways, sparking interest in science, technology, engineering, and math fields that are often perceived as inaccessible. The program not only fosters academic growth but also builds essential life skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and perseverance. Investing in UYRS means supporting a proven model that empowers youth, bridges educational gaps, and cultivates future leaders in both STEM and motorsports industries.
