[dropcap]B[/dropcap]ossy is the first word you hear when a women or girl is trying to assert themselves or make a decision. But as Sheryl Sandberg states “When a little boy asserts himself, he’s called a ‘leader.’ Yet when a little girl does the same, she risks being branded ‘bossy.’ Words like bossy send a message: don’t raise your hand or speak up. By middle school, girls are less interested in leading than boys — a trend that continues into adulthood,” .
Sheryl Sandberg, Facebook COO and Lean In Foundation Founder has recruited the Hollywood elite such as Beyoncé, Jane Lynch, Jennifer Garner and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to lend their voice to help ban the word “Bossy.”
